In early 2020, the Indian MAU was at 65k. Currently, the India MAUs stands at a strong 1M and growing. vFlat is at the epicenter of a changing and evolving market. The reason for this growth was that during COVID-19, a huge number of schools and workplaces were forced to transmit information remotely. This trend continues today and vFlat’s unique selling point of transforming physical paper-based information transfer into digital information transfer is very relevant. Digitization also works as a strong tailwind for vFlat. Everything from KYC documents for insurance companies to legal documents for judicial organizations is facing the need for digitization and automation even in India. With vFlat’s technology, these efforts can be greatly improved, and already vFlat is exploring this sector through partnerships with a few Korean insurance companies. Team Voyagerx in S.Korea. When asked about the one key characteristic that sets vFlat apart, Kevin, Team Lead for India, says “ is its absolute focus on users. Answering every single app store review, multiple usability tests every month, and user data-based decision-making is just the beginning. We make it a point that almost every single new feature and improvement with vFlat starts from the user and travels up the hierarchy. Often, it is the idea of one employee that sparks off a new feature, not a top-down decision coming from an orchestrated business plan and that is the work culture we have back in Korea”. VoyagerX raised 27M USD from Softbank, Altos Ventures, and Yellowdog in 2021. With this funding, VoyagerX seeks to expand its user base of vFlat and also grow into an all-in-one document app. For now, the focus remains predominantly on the Indian market, studying and observing the user behavior and needs.
