After the IT work around the turn of the year, Postbank customers had complained for days about major problems in online banking. The latest wave of the technology changeover at the beginning of April also cost some customers nerves again, as could be read on Twitter and the portal "allestorungen.de", for example. Three months ago, Deutsche Bank spoke of an overall successful transfer of millions of data. Measured by the number of customers, the third wave was the largest: data of about five million Postbank customers were brought onto the joint platform at the beginning of April: current accounts, call money and time deposits as well as savings products. So now comes the final step. "With this last wave, we are completing the migration of Postbank IT to Deutsche Bank's systems. A total of over 50 billion data records have then been transferred," said Peschke. Under the name "Unity", twelve million Postbank customers will then be merged with seven million Deutsche Bank customers in Germany on one IT platform.
