sentra.world,a Bangalore, Karnataka, India-based provider of an ESG (environmental, social, and governance) SaaS platform, reportedly raised $2M in Seed funding. The round was led by Avaana Capital, with participation from RPG Ventures and Golden Sparrow Ventures. The company intends to use the funds to expand globally, and further develop its platform. Founded by Harsh Choudhry (CEO) and Vikas Upadhyay (COO), sentra.world provides industrial players in such areas as Steel, Aluminum, Cement, Chemicals, and Utilities with SaaS platforms such as: – sentra.calculus, which is an ESG management product, enabling businesses to meet ESG compliance, access new markets and reduce costs; and – Sentra.network, which is a scope 3 focused product that tracks supplier emissions and enables green sourcing FinSMEs
