You even see people who have raised funding for autonomous driving companies looking for technical co-founders — it’s really bizarre. No-code is not the silver bullet for every business, but it will without a doubt lower the technical barrier to entry for many SaaS startups.” While the past examples of Amazon (Jeff Bezos), Ebay (Pierre Omidyar), and Craiglist (Craig Newmark) illustrate the case of highly technical solo founders, Code2 believes it can create a whole new chapter in this saga and help convert a new class of emerging non-technical founders into solo entrepreneurs. All this does not mean no-code platforms are of no use to technical talent. Today’s challenging and demanding environment also pushes the limits of the technical crowd, who are constantly in search of tools that deliver solutions more quickly. “Code2 was not developed on a whim,” says Veli Öztürk, the CTO of Code2. “It is the embodiment of the two-decade-long professional careers of its two technical founders. The startup’s $1 million seed investment was led by the next generation early-stage venture capital firm ScaleX Ventures, with participation from Code2’s first customer Aytekin Oldaç and PrimeTek founder Çağatay Çivici.
